I produced this short as a way of proposing to my girlfriend (now wife), Natasha. I assembled a team of 20 animators, both professionals and students from the Art Institute of California - San Francisco. I managed as well as worked on every aspect of production, and we were able to complete five minutes of animation in a little over three months. When the animation was complete, I surprised Natasha by bringing her to a local theater and playing it for her on the big screen. The entire proposal was filmed for the television show “A Perfect Proposal” on TLC.

 

The short played at SIGGRAPH in 2005 and was a YouTube Video Awards Finalist for "Most Inspirational Video" in 2007.
